Lomachenko's guarantee is so high there's no money in fighting him. He gets a million dollars to fill 3,000 seat venues. The gate can't cover 1/4 of his purse. If HBO isn't buying the fight there is no license fee to cover costs to put on the fight. But now the narrative is nobody wants to fight him. They're offering guys peanuts. Every single Lomachenko fight the opponent is complaining about how little they're getting paid.
