I'm thinking the same. Oscar started having that problem also in Vegas. They used to say that Oscar ALWAYS got close decisions and then the close decisions in Vegas started going the other way. No matter what the judges now know they are under a microscope. Fair or not... I think the close rounds will go to Kov. This time deservered or not.

Kov not gonna burn out by overtraining cuz he took Ward too seriously but now he knows Ward can't box with him but has to come forward and make it ugly!

Kov needed to work on fighting off backfoot more and he can keep Ward on the end of his jab and walk him into a right hand!

That right hand in the 2nd round didnr even land full force, more like the palm, if Kov would've turned that hand over quicker I'm not sure if Ward would've gott en up!

A lot of pointless talk from both fighters and their promotion. I had Kovalev winning the first, feel that Ward will make adjustments as the more versatile fighter and will win the 2nd. I like both fighters but the talk from both is beginning to annoy me. Don't take my predictions or analysis as gospel, despite 30+ years a fan I know nothing.
