I agree when you been doing something for so long it's hard to let go.

On the surface I'd say he appears to be. As to whether or not he actually is happy, who the hell knows. The Connor fight is an easy money grab and not necessarily a sign of unhappiness.

I am not saying I know but some of his behavior indicates this. You can see how he show up at the Joshua camp. Takes the mic in his fighters interviews. He wants to fight McGregor so he can have a bigger audience other than the boxing one.

He really don't have to fight anymore and has said that he wants to stay away from fighting but there he is pursing a meaningless fight that is popular.

Life after sport is not always easy. Some retired athletes express a feeling of emptiness in their lives, depression and even commit suicide. It can't always be easy to just move on and adjust and adapt to your new lifestyle.
Well said. Im sure this is exactly what it is

You don't know him well enough to judge what his behavior indicates.

Whoa, why so defensive about this. It is only my opinion. If anybody ask me that is what I would say. Don't get the questioning or this statement

Floyd needs constant validation from people in his life. He is used to getting it from many millions around the world as an active fighter. Not comparable to him taking pictures and signing autographs for fans everywhere he goes post-fighting, but can it be enough for him? It's like a hard drugs addict switching to just weed.

He misses the spot light probably. But he is fighting McGregor soon so that will change for a little bit.
