Dude travels a lot. Spends a ton of time with his kids. Still doesn't drink or do drigs. I live in GR and have seen him around town a few times in the last couple years, always smiling and joking, always talking to people and taking pictures. Yeah, he seems happy as hell.
is Mayweather happy?

When certain boxers retire, it quite similar to when long time soldiers retire from the army! (Some slip into depression, others search for a replacement to make them feel alive! Floyd Mayweather is in the process of dealing with retirement, and the change in his core identity! some fighters never want to lose that identity that's why they carry on until they literally have nothing left! Its quite similar to the way warriors from ancient history, would sometimes rather die on the battle field!)....Comment

Just like every former athlete, I'm sure he does miss the adrenaline rush, the spotlight..etc. He's been a boxer his entire life, that's all he knows.
Life after sport is not always easy. Some retired athletes express a feeling of emptiness in their lives, depression and even commit suicide. It can't always be easy to just move on and adjust and adapt to your new lifestyle.Last edited by VatoMulatto; 06-07-2017, 05:49 PM.Comment
