    Does Garcia/Broner mean no Garcia/Lomachenko?

At least not any time soon? That would be a kick in the arse. I can't imagine Garcia would move back down to 135 after Broner, and I wouldn't expect him to either (as I am not a fan of weight jumping).

I realize that Lomachenko hasn't yet moved up to 135 but I know he wanted to within the next year.

EDIT: No I do not think Garcia is "ducking" Loma either. I just really wanted to see this fight and it seemed like a real possibility.

He said himself that he's moving back to 135 after this fight. I wanted to see him fight Linares then Easter Jr. Linares didn't want that work obviously

I don't like when fighters move back down in weight as we've all seen what that can do. Oh well, its his choice....

He said he wants to unify at 135. He said that he took the Broner fight because it was the biggest fight available right now.

Garcia says he's gonna move back down to 135 (I'm sure only for the right fights).

I don't think Garcia wants to campaign at 140 as long as Crawford is there. I've seen several interviews where Robert Garcia said they are going to avoid that fight for as long as they can.

Once Mikey left TR I think the Mikey/Loma fight went out the window.

Linares is with GBP. Easter is fellow PBC fighter. Somehow nobody even attempted to make Easter vs Garcia. Wonder who is being protected.

It really depends on how he does it if he goes into the fight like normal and doesn't try to bulk up at all he should be fine. He isn't super young but he isn't old and his mileage on his boxing tires isn't bad. So as long as he just goes in the fight to out skill, box and quick Broner without putting on extra mass he should be fine.

As for the Lomochenko fight I don't know it just seemed like a lot of talk to me I think the fighter would do it which makes the fight possible but the behind the scenes stuff was always going to push them in other directions unless there were no other options or the money was too good to pass up. This Broner fight is pretty big for Garcia so that should help make his future fights worth more, which I think help the Lomachencko fight come off later.

I like Mikey though so I might be being too positive about the situation.
