Murata was considering retiring... not sure if they are tactical blufffs, but for a Japanese Gold medalist to lose in his own backyard on some goofy ass scoring I don't blame him in thinking so.
What's the scoop with Murata vs N'Dam? NC?!

Ryota retiring? are you kidding? if this is true its a good thing because we have enough divas in the sport. For a guy with less than 14 pro fights he thinks hes special, like he accomplished something in the game or is above the legends that been robbed.
Hagler, Whitaker, Marquez, DelaHoya, Holifield...Murata is my boy but he needs to take it on the chin and keep it pushing - he should beat N'Dam anyways.Last edited by 1hourRun; 06-07-2017, 06:02 AM.Comment

I agree, but let's be honest, the Japanese are knee deep with pride and honor in their culture. He needs to come back and smash all doubt, KO style. I fück with Pedro Diaz doe and I did like N'Dam's performance. I liked both in that fight, but Murata came back with a way better performance the second half. This is some Lara vs Williams type scoringRyota retiring? are you kidding? if this is true its a good thing because we have enough divas in the sport. I predicted Murata to be the first to KO N'Dam, perhaps Ryota vindicates my Nostradamus boxing IQ in a rematch! hyped, I hope the WBA mandates it asap.Comment

Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, president of the World Boxing Association (WBA), announced at a press conference Thursday that judges Gustavo Padilla of Panama and Hubert Earle of Canada were suspended for six months - over their scoring of the fight from last Saturday in Japan in the match between Hassan N'Dam and Ryota Murata for the "regular" middleweight title of the sanctioning body.Comment

Give the benefit of the doubt to judges who favor more output (N'Dam), whether they are not hard-clean shots, over Murata who whose pose was more headhunting all night trying to close the ring for a perfect KO. Murata had too much confidence in trying to land that one shot. Imagine if Brandon Rios had the skills like Murata, meaning to come forward and actually land meaningful shots, Pac would've been in trouble. N'Dam's got nice stamina and work rate, but he doesn't have that pop to hurt Murata so he rely on points.
Nevertheless, Murata had more significant shots in the bout including the knockdown. Ryota just is the better boxer, well composed. In fact Murata's style comes off as a more timid GGg in the ring. The styles are very similarComment
