Mikey has talked a lot about fighting the best since his comeback, but once again he is fighting the money fight (or cherry picked titlists before), instead of the best guy at the weight. Never the best guy at the weight, at least not at weights were there are any best guys. I like what he's saying about fighting Crawford, but until he actually follows through, it's meaningless. I will become a fan though if he fights Crawford after this tuneup/weight acclimatisation fight against Broner.

You have to keep in mind Mikey has had a long layoff so it should absolutely be about the money. No one who wants the best for Mikey would advise him otherwise. He already stated after this fight he is going back down to 135lbs So the matches we crave will still be there. He deserves to secure his financial future.
