The entire boxing world knows Stevenson jumped ship to avoid Kovalev, who's under exclusive contract with HBO. Stevenson's team go on about a BD 'purse bid' blah blah. There was an agreement for them to fight and Adonis the POS (Piece of s***) walked away. His team know Kovalev can't fight under Showtime so they pulled the purse big crap. Everyone can see through the lies, Kovalev's opponent s*** all over the cab drivers Stevenson has fought over the last 3 or 4 years. It's disappointing because his first 2 or 3 defences were against solid competition.

Kov is right, Ahoeness Superb!+ch been fighting ancient super middleweights, part time Carpenters, polish uber drivers and prospects which is why he was stripped of his Ring title and why he went to Showtime cuz HBO(unlike what they do with GGG and Canelo) wouldn't allow him to keep fighting garbage opponents!

Stevenson is a sucker for a right hand and a good jab and his defense is subparx Krusher would light him up like 4th of July while circling away from the left!

Loma fought the best in only his 2nd fight, was outweighed and still only list by a razor split decision. Next fight tortured great black hope Russell and Walters. Loma best fighter in boxing.

Here is something that everyone can pretty much agree on. Stevenson's quality of opponents speaks for itself. Even if we set aside the fact that Kov-Adonis fight didn't happen, Stevenson's opponents have been pathetic. He is the worst titleholder as far as fighting unworthy opponents.

He and Wilder hold the record for that, definitely.

Kovalev had the chance to fight Stevenson and make a lot of money but him and his team passed on the fight and walked away from the purse bid. Kovalev and Duva were content with the small money HBO was offering back then. I believe it was less than 3 mil to make Kov/Stevenson. Stevenson obviously got a better offer from Showtime that HBO had the chance to match. Why would Kov not accept the purse bid when at the time he had finished his HBO contract. He would have made a lot more money fighting on Showtime
