EVeryone knows mikey is one of my favorite fighters today

i think he made a calculated risk but may have picked off more than he can chew

Broner has only lost to larger, swarmers....not smaller, technical boxers who fight at a deliberate pace


Broner is bigger, stronger, hits harder, has faster hands and a great chin

I saw no picking Broner to win...not one when i scrolled through the forum....why? do some of you really want to see him lose that bad that you are not realistic about his talent

i dont let personality traits or out of ring things blind my judgement of talent

BUT at the same time Ponce De Leon fought very well against Broner and is probably about the same size and stature as Mikey and he attempted to outbox Broner. I actually thought Broner lost or it shoulda been a draw But it was close enough for it to go the other way too.

I guess like most speculate it depends on what Broner we get.

we shall see...mikey is my guy but he hasnt even fought much the last few years or any tough fights either....broner just beat a game granados...mikey needs more rounds in the bank...he may blow his load late rounds

broner goes gun shy once he feels power, he lost his 2 biggest fight in the same manner. this is not theophane or any other undersized opponent, and he looked bad in his last fight vs granados.

Ponce threw A TON of punches though mikey doesnt fight like that hes a tactical counter puncher.

The guy has made a career of coming in over the 140 lbs. weight limit both before and after the Porter bout. The guy has never taken his career seriously, in or out of the ring. I don't see any reason why this time will be any different.

im guessing you didnt watch the maidana fight.....he kept trying to win and got up from two knockdowns

vs Porter he tried to play counter puncher got outworked

he didnt look bad vs granados...it was the same style and tenacity that troubled him in the past and he pulled out the win in an exciting fight

Broner has never fought anybody as talented as Garcia.
Ponce is very small. He beat Broner quite easily.

Garcia will be the one dictating the pace of this fight.
Broner should try to get his punches off first. But he won't. Broner likes to fight in bursts. This will be his undoing.

Garcia has good natural power. But his balance and accuracy are what make him so dangerous. Broner isn't really a hard puncher he just thinks he is. Garcia has the edge in this department.

The only guy Broner has faced that had real firepower is Maidana. And Maidana hurt and dropped him easily.

I think Garcia is a no heart quitter. I also think he is a cherry picking bully.
But that doesn't change the fact that he is going to put Broner to sleep.

I actually find it awkward, the predictions. "Broner getting KO'ed", "Broner getting destroyed!".

People don't realize that Broner can punch and take a punch at 147, and Mikey can punch and recovers well from hard punches at 130-135 but Broner never really had to recover from anything in those weights. Broner's recoverability really showed in the Maidana fight.

Mikey Garcia is a great fighter, a top 10 P4P fighter but there's weight classes for a reason. I've seen Mikey get put on his ass by Martinez, and I saw Burgos hurt him good. Broner is more power than those two.

I think it will be a good fight and it will be more competitive than people think. Mikey's best positive here is that it's only 140lbs, 5lbs above the weight class he's in. If it was at 147lbs that would've been more of an issue, but at 140 Broner is still dangerous.

So if Garcia makes a fool of Broner and knocks him out with ease will you admit YDKSAB?
