I see no wrong in an American supporting Kov.

well said. some people need to realise you dont have to support a fighter just cause they have the same skin colour as they do.Comment

Of course you can! The question is why is it when you support Ward people bring in factors of race?Comment

I think it's pretty ****** to be honest.
Why would you go against your countryman for a guy who looks nothing like you, who shares no culture with you, who talks **** behind your back, who has no love for your people or country or your views.
The average American has more in common with Ward than they do Kovalev besides maybe one major thing... I'll let you figure out what that is.Comment

The idea that you MUST cheer for a fighter because of where you were born is antiquated at this point. We are allowed to be free thinkers, not sheep. I get it if you are from a place where the guy is your national treasure (like Manny was) but not from a place like America. The idea that who you cheer for is predetermined is ****** as ****.Comment

I am an American and Kovalev is one of my favorite boxers. I don't like Ward. I am a fan of the boxer and could care less what country he is from. I am a fan of Canelo, GGG and Loma as well. I always want them to win no matter what country their opponent is from including the USA. I am a big fan of Spence and he is my favorite American boxer at this time.Comment
