Spence has been trying to see him for 2+ years. Now that Spence has a belt, the tides are turning and people are starting to see that it was more than Spence's resume or not having a title as to why Thurman wasn't trying to fight him. As WBA titleholder, Thurman fought Bundu, old Collazo, washed up Guerrero, and Diaz who didn't have crazy resumes or titles. Fan pressure is making Thurman make a move. If fans got together more often and showed their displeasure, we could get more high, quality fights going instead of having to accept silly mismatches. Let's go, Spence!!!

One time will take a tune up after his injury next year and then take the rest of the year off claiming he needs to recover from the fight. I would say he earned a soft touch if he fought two tough fights back to back within the year but he fights once a year. I have no problem with him taking on his mando Peterson, but come back and fight again within the year. This guy fought Garcia in March and was talking about fighting again in November before the injury.
