The question was whether or not Ward's body punching was effective and contributed to slowing down Kovalev. But as usual you want to use moronic logic and unrelated topics to deny what is obvious to most people.

We agree on the question, but how do we know the answer? Ward body punched, and Kovalev slowed down. Those two things happened, but how do you know they didn't happen separately? Correlation does not always equal causation. Kovalev also gassed the fight before against Chilemba. Was that from Chilemba's body work? Just as effective as Ward's??? See the problem? It doesn't add up.

Because 40-50 years ago the Soviet Union did not fight pro neither did any communist country including cuba. Teofilo Stevenson would have murdered ali. Same with the Russian olympians who dominated.
