Someone needs to tell Ward that the public witnessed the fight. Grunting from getting hit in the body doesn't necessarily mean someone is hurt. Some fighters grunt in anticipation of a shot.

If Kov was truly hurt, he would have went down or at least taken a knee.

How many knees did Fonfara take in the 2nd round against Stevenson on Saturday? How many times did Brook go down or take a knee vs Golovkin?

Kova punches way harder and landed more punches in more rounds and overall. I guess that doesn't matter because he's not the right skin color for ******* Vegas.

This is what's wrong with boxing today. Too many fan boys that are simple "boxer" fans that can't handle when judges score fights differently than they do from their basements. Most of these fan boys don't even know how to score a fight or the criteria that judges are looking for. Stop the ******ity. 3 official judges scored a close fight for Ward...this wasn't Pac vs Bradley 1. Get over it and get excited for a rematch between 2 pound for pound boxers. So called fans cry about the best fighting the best but then can't handle the results of subjective judging.

He landed 10 more total punches in a 12 round fight. Is you removed the 2nd round, they landed the same amount of punches, but Kovalev through about 140 more punches.

Kovalev has fought more times in Vegas than Ward. Hmmmm??

As a fight fan, you should know that rounds are judged individually round per round. Ward went down in one round which means that there were 11 other rounds for the judges to score. Having one 10-8 round is not a guarantee of victory. It simply means you won 1 round out of 12.

Personally I thought Kovalev did enough to win a close fight but I understand why the judges scored it for Ward.
