It would have been cool for the fans if that stadium was full of 100,000 people for that fight.

I don't know anybody who's willing to pay for that joke of a fight either in person or on ppv. I still have yet to read anyone on here on Boxing scene who's says they gonna pay for it... Everyone either calls that fight a ****ing joke or they saying they'll stream it somehow but nobody is willing to pay for it. Do you personally know anyone who's gonna pay for that fight?
On the other hand, everyone is looking forward to Canelo vs g string so no way does Mayweather outsell Canelo! Mayweather's days as the ppv king are gone. You'll see when the numbers come out after he fights Connor.

This is a Vegas fight. Texas wouldn't be a good idea because it's known that Texas consistently has shady scoring in big fights, particularly in favor of the more popular fighter.

Gayweather can go fight on Kwanza or MLK Day, or national welfare day what whatever those people celebrate. Or when the circus goes to Vegas. Sept 16 is reserved for Mexicans and big fights.

but unlike oscar who is very greedy guys like eddie hearn look at the bigger picture.... The wembley spectacle helped joshua become a mega star and the fight in dallas would do the same for canelo... Maybe oscar is being shortsighted but we shall see... The hotels in vegas give you a lot of extra perks.... Cars, food, rooms and other things which are hard to turn down lol

I also think they chose Vegas for concern about Mayweather-McGregor attempting to do their fight on the same date in Las Vegas.
