I am a Pacquiao fan and was hoping he would win but Mayweather is a great fighter and it's no disgrace to lose to him. As a big Kovalev fan who dislikes Ward I wasn't sad or disappointed with the results of their fight. Of course I was hoping Kovalev would win by KO. Kovalev didn't win by KO. He did knock Ward down and he did win more rounds and deserved to win the fight. By computer scores that are neutral Kovalev threw more punches and he landed more punches. The polls show that the vast majority of both fans and boxing writers thought Kovalev won the fight. Kovalev won the fight in the court of public opinion which is more important in the long run than the official decision.
