Personally don't see the point. I know the first fight was a classic but some fights should be left alone in a time capsule forever. I felt the same way about Corrales VS Castillo, that rematch should have never happened and i feel the same here. Rematches of excellent fights don't usually live up to the first fight.

Looks like another couple hundred on Klitschko.

So Klitschko hasn't actually confirmed the fight yet, but most likely will this week. Hopefully the fight is over in the States as that'd be a pretty good way to promote Joshua over there.
It was tweeted by the official Matchroom Boxing account. Eddie Hearn has confirmed it. It's happening

Too bad. It was a great fight for an old lion to go out on. He earned more respect in a losing effort than for most of his wins.

I agree with that. But it's to much money on the table not to run it back.

EDDIE Hearn claimed Anthony Joshua is set to face Wladimir Klitschko in a mouth-watering rematch of their epic heavyweight title clash at Wembley Stadium. Joshua thrilled a record crowd of 90,000 in April as he unified the WBA, IBO and IBF belts during a pulsating affair that saw both men forced to haul themselves off the canvas.

First was a great fight. Klitschko came very close... odds favor the younger guy in the rematch but Klitschko has a chance, especially if he can come in a tiny bit heavier and maintain better stamina. It would be another big fight on the schedule, and since in this sport events only deliver about 10% of the time, you need to have 10 big fights on the schedule at all times if you want to end up with 1 good fight.

That's what people don't get when they brag about how their network booked a great matchup or something, and they're like "We have this great fight coming up." No, what you did is you booked a 10% chance at a great fight. Most likely, someone will get headbutted, or they won't make weight healthy, or the ref and judges will be bought off, or the styles won't mesh, or the ref will stop the fight right when it's getting interesting, etc etc. That's what happens 90% of the time, so if you actually want great fights, you need to book 10 great matchups, and then 1 will turn into a good fight, 2 if you're really lucky.

It was a great fight but it doesn't need a rematch. Usually when a man knocks you out you don't make him rematch you because its considered a settled matter. Only up side is to see how much AJ improves and whether his skills are improving or if he has topped off.

Fights never seem to happen in Dubai.. also the crowds over there would suck as they wouldn’t be real boxing fans but rather very rich folk. Hardly any fans from the UK would travel as Dubai is a really expensive holiday destination.
That being said I been to Dubai and AJ is huge there.. they have massive posters of him everywhere in all the malls.. They don’t even have posters of him like that in the UK. Most popular road in Dubai had like 50 posters of him.

He’s also friends with the royal family and they regularly invite him over for dinner. They are one of the richest families in the whole world.. I reckon if they are willing to pay, AJ has a good of fighting there.

Damn I didn't know that. I wonder why he's so big over there?
