But since you want to bring it here Canelo is already a superstar you idiot Spence is NOT. When Canelo was being built he fought EXCLUSIVELY in mexico and mostly in Guadalajara. Then after building a rabid fanbase came to the US fought close to Mexico and then by the time he fought in Vegas for big fights he was already a massive draw. Spence despite being from Dallas one of the biggest cities in the country fought just 1 time as he came up and is why in his own hometown nobody knows who the phuk he is and draws shyt ratings for Showtime in his biggest fight. Maybe he should of had some of his showcase fights in Texas then maybe they would give a damn about him like people in Guadalajara care about Canelo.

Now that you are done hi******* this thread, as for Canelo being in Vegas that is as expected too much money in vegas if any fight were going to go to a stadium it would of been Chavez but since that went to Vegas for the money it was a no brainer that GGG ended up in Vegas too. The charade from Golden Boy about opening up other cities and stadiums for this mega fight was just a ploy to create a bidding war and force Vegas to ante up more money for the fight. It never had a shot of being anywhere but vegas.

Haymon screwed Spence on promoting him by not building a fan base in his home city. Look at Bud Crawford in his home town of Omaha Neb. his fans love him and sell out all his home town fights. Haymon has to many fighters to advise properly. Especially at welterweight which he should of had a tournament with all his fighters already. I got laughed at when I said imagined if GPB promoted Spence he would be super star already with his style of fighting it all makes sense now. thanks for the break down.

Would've been nice if the fight happened at AT&T Stadium but I realy felt like the fight was gonna end up in Vegas.

Biggest fights in USA go to Las Vegas no matter what, money and revenue can't be beaten on another place.

This is so lame! Always putting the good fights in Vegas. This is why boxing cant grow. An average fan cant even watch a fight. All they do is cater to the rich, and force people to pay over priced PPVs. I bet anything, the PPV will be $100 bucks.

Well to be fair, there are plenty of fights the "average" fan can see, just this is akin to the SB. No "average" fans get to go to that either. Or an NBA Finals game in a decent seat..
