It was disappointing in my opinion. Yeah Kovalev wrestled, and Ward was dead negative. No standing and trading. No combination punching. Wasn't much of a fight to watch.

I split round 3 10 - 10 and gave 4, 6, 10 and 12 to Kovalev. I've never said it was a robbery though and don't have a problem with those who gave 3 and/or 12 to Ward for the win. I just think they're wrong is all.

What I find weird though is Dre's assertion that he was 'pretty dominant after Rnd 2' based on the judges scorecards when the scorecards he's refering to only had him winning 1 round (round 5) of the first 6 on the judges scorecards. If he had said 'I was pretty dominant after round 6' it would have made sense, but saying what he said just makes no sense in that context.

Nothing impressive. Nothing you'd expect from two guys vying for number one pound for pound. Not exactly Hagler Leonard, or even old Hearns and Leonard in the rematch. I just felt the fight never really caught fire after really looking forward to it.
