To Wards defense, this kinda answer is what you get when you ask somebody the same damn question in a million different ways. The media has been hounding Ward since the press conference asking the same damn questions like hes a suspect to a crime. Sometimes its best to say no comment.

Ward took over since the 4th round.

Cept even the judges had Kovalev winning 5 out of the first 6. You could say he took over after the 6th. Cept most people also gave Kovalev the 10th, and some the 12th. And even after Ward 'took over' he actually barely sc****d half the rounds he did win.
