Yeah and Wilder got dropped and hurt badly by Harold Sconiers who has a 23% Knockout percentage. Got hurt and wobbled by Eric Molina, got tagged, hurt and wobbled in sparring against David Haye. Knocked out in the Amateurs. And I've been known about the rumors of Klitschko dropping Wilder in sparring numerous times way before it was just reported, that is old news, I've been heard about that.
And yes we also know Joshua got hurt with Whyte and hurt and dropped by Klitschko. And the sparring stories about David Price, Dubois, etc...
Bottom line is both Wilder and Joshua have been hurt and dropped.
If they fought right now, my money is on Joshua.
Wilder's lack of discipline with fundamentals and technique are major flaws. Joshua is more technically sound and consistent than Wilder in fundamentals and technique.
They both have the power to knock each other out no doubt. Though because of the better technical skills and technique I see Joshua hitting Wilder with his big shots and knocking Wilder out before Wilder can land his big shots.
It took what, 5 rounds for Wilder to land his big shot against Washington and it took him 9 rounds to land that big shot against Szpilka. Well, it's not going to take Joshua 5 or 9 rounds to land his big shots on Wilder. He will be landing his big shots in the first 2 to 3 rounds.
Joshua by KO over Wilder
