Comments Thread For: Spence: Thurman Not as Strong as Brook, He's Small - I'll Beat Him

IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence (22-0, 19 KOs) is eager to get his hands on WBC, WBA champion Keith Thurman (28-0, 22 KOs). Last weekend, Spence captured the IBF belt when he stopped Kell Brook before a hostile crowd of 27,000 fans at Bramall Lane in Sheffield. Spence is now hoping to get Thurman in the ring. But Thurman recently underwent elbow surgery and has to sit on the bench until the end of the year.

He doesn't need to do anything of the sort. Plenty of fights left for him at 147.

i think he beats thurman. keith is kinda slow imo, he telegraphs his punches doesn't throw many combinations. he still will have a chance because of his power and spence defense that didn't seem that tight vs brook

Its like the IBF belt has some sort of magical power that makes the holder of it talk nonstop. Brook didnt shut the **** up and now Spence. I like Spence but we get it man, you want big fights at 147. Thurman is injured right noe and recovering, why mention him?

If he has, then IBF is the wrong title to hold due to fight day weigh in.

We all know this. It'll be another vicious beating. Watching these men quit against this kid will be a joy to watch.

Classic late 80s style fighter. He'll take a little bit to give out a whole lot. Very appreciative of his fighting style.
