Comments Thread For: Paul Smith Very Motivated To Snatch WBA Belt From Tyron Zeuge

PAUL SMITH has wanted to be world champion since he was six and realised he wasn't good enough to play for his beloved Liverpool. That is why the super middleweight Scouser won't throw in the towel on his dream to win a world title as he prepares to face WBA regular' champion Tyron Zeuge in Germany on June 17. Smith, 34, has been a professional since 2003 and has 44 fights on his record with six defeats.

Am I a casual because I don't know Tyron Zeuge? I literally know nothing about him.

The WBA "regular" title is ridiculous but I hope he wins it. He would forever be known as the former world champion so good luck to him.

Four major sanctioning bodies. One of them with both a "super champion" and a "regular champion."

That's what allows Tyron Zeuge to hold a belt and Paul Smith to challenge for it.

This could add to Ward's resume if Smith wins. Smith would become a world champion.

I'm a Ward fan but I'd be embarrassed to even claim that as a plus on his resume.
