I'm looking forward to the fight tonight, two guys not afraid to ****. I rewatched the first fight and was amazed at the shots Fonfara was taking, I hope he comes in with a little more D, but I doubt it.
That fight made me think of Ward and how he's able to
go right into a puncher's power and smother the other fighter's offence. Love him or hate him, it's an effective strategy even if it makes for an ugly fight.
I think the rematch will come down to whether Ward can fight on the inside or if Kovalev can keep Ward at a distance where he can land effectively.
