I think UK boxing needs to look at it's home town practises. A visiting fighter will get the fight stopped for a scratch, or a stumble. The home town hero has to do or die. Kevin Mitchell withered under fire, crumbled, bleeding like a broken water main, and stopping the fight never crossed anybodies mind. Brooks eye was about to fall out, he was blinking like a busted traffic signal and they kept sending him out. All the talk about protecting the fighters only applies to the visitor. The home fighter will get every benefit up to permanent damage and they still won't stop the fight.
