I think GGG gets a lot of hype because fighters hand their hard earned belts over and refuse to fight him. That's also where the boogie man title given to him also comes from. And to your point about 168 Chavez chickened out and had bob arum problems. Froch stayed retired and was not motivated enough to fight him because of the beating he would take in the Ring with GGG.

Only someone uninformed, ignorant, or both would characterize what happened with Chavez Jr as "chickened out". Hell, it wasn't even about Grimbumkin as much as it was about Arum. But you actually have to WANT TO KNOW what happened to get to that part, instead of listening to faux boogeyman hype. Look at yourself. You mention Flappy Bob, so you should know what happened and that it wasn't a duck as much as it was a fighter wanting to be done with a promoter. But, you STILL wanna think it is something else.
As for Froch, I don't think he was ever the slightest bit worried about Lil g. Carl is cagey AF, and probably was pulling our leg a bit with some comments. He has fought bigger fighters and better fighters. Lil g aint a problem for him and he knows it.

If Chavez Jr and Froch are guys that swerved Lil g,
then how can it be anything other than a swerve or duck when we talk about Lil g avoiding Ward, Lara, Groves, BHop, Dirrell (both), and most recently Saunders and Charlo? All of them have been quite vocal about wanting Lil g in the ring.Comment

The fact that you are aware of what went on with Arum and yet still call it a duck is all the proof of your moronic fanboydom anyone needs.
He didn't want to sign with Arum for the extension and then Arum lowballed him on the one fight deal...nothing to do with Lil g, but you fanboys must feel better if you can pretend it did.
As for Froch, this is the last thing he said about Grubluvkin:

Doesn't sound worried about what would happen in the ring to me, but you interpret it any way you like.
And he is right about Triple B-side fighting someone...and no, a jr middleweight that never fought a true middle in his life is not going to make him great either. And losing to that jr. middle off his last 2 performances will be ruinous to any legacy he might have had.
