This nonsense about 49-0 is ******ed,chavez sr fought all comers & was ducked for years by whitiker & others,he was 89-0 at one point,& theres been others as well whov went past 50 wins, anyone with more than 50 wins while fighting the best should be considered greater than mayweather & marcianos 49 wins even if they lost some,id rather be 52-1 than 49-0

46-0 I'll be honest I've never even heard of him though that probably speaks more of my ignorance for the baby weight classes.

49-0 by Marciano is a heavyweight record. Plain and simple

It's also the most wins without a loss/draw/no contest for a retired champion in boxing history (tied with Mayweather).

Nah. Chavez was like 87-0 before the Pernell bout

49-0 is a HEAVYWEIGHT record. Only limp-wristed hipsters and *** yoof compare Mayweather and Marciano's records.
