Yep....risky fight for everyone involved...showtime included. There is a penalty involved if broner doesn't make weight, but mikey's not sure he fights if broner doesn't make weight. Strange fight. Just seems like there were better options for all involved.

It was the best option for Broner. "A" level fight against a smaller opponent, in a weight class really ought to stay at. Garcia, not so much, just should had stayed at 135.

I like how in every other sentence Mikey says "140 pounds, 140 pounds..." Honestly, when I read yesterday, 2 or 3 sentences into the article I'm thinking, no way this fight goes off!

But I'd like it to! Immediately thought Broner would get pelted on pretty bad. He's got a good beard I think, so it would probably go the distance. But I see Garcia delivering a hurtful shellacking over 12 painful rounds..
