AGAIN a lot of ppl had Jacobs winning. And wanted a rematch. GGG said NOPE
I'd like to see the rematch. Jacobs' team said no to the rematch clause though. Can't blame Golovkin for taking a shot at Canelo I guess.

Canelo and Golovkin fans are sensitive people...

Everyone not named Floyd would drop everything to fight Canelo. So I don't blame him one bit. Plus this is the fight EVERYONE wants!!!

I would like them to hunt down WBO before moving up, but if that's not an option, they should definitely move him up in 2018.

People complained Jacobs was to big and GGG is a small middleweight. Wait til he gets to 168 with the big boys

Golovkin hasn't met anyone who can fight off the back foot as well as Canelo. Golovkin moves forward, which is Canelo's preferred style in an opponent (vs having to chase like with Lara). His hands and defence are far faster than his feet.

Golovkin is going to have to pay by eating a lot of clean shots from Canelo to get inside, and if any of them hurt, he's going to be far more cautious, which plays into Canelo's hands.

Meantime Canelo will be getting hit by shots considerably more powerful than he's ever been hit before, and just one hurtful shot could reduce his willingness to throw shots as freely as he normally does.

Going to be fascinating to see how it plays out.
The one thing you left out was Canelo eating jack hammer jabs all night long. Could be a factor..(Unless you included those in "hurtful shots"?)

I guess even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. I think we can all agree (this one time with Abel)that after Canelo he needs to finally move up.

that excuse was used whenever 168 was mentioned

Andre Ward was the motivation for that excuse
