    Professional boxing returns to Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California on Saturday, June 24 with the 73 edition of World Fighting Championship (WFC), a card headlined by young undefeated Las Vegas sensation Devin Haney and some of the best local talent in the southern California desert, Haney (15-0, 10 KOs) of Las Vegas will take on Erik Daniel Martinez (13-7-1, 7 KOs) of Tijuana in an eight round lightweight bout. Haney who is 18 years old, one the hottest rising prospects in professional boxing, will be seeking his fifth victory of the year.

      Probably his best opponent thus far. This dude has went the distance with a lot of solid-ish regional prospects & been in there with names we've heard of/seen like Redkach & Shelestyuk so this will be a good measuring stick to see where Haney is at. This kid is 2-7 in his last 9, but the combined record of his 7 opponents who beat him is 108-5-6 (80KO's) & he's went the distance with 3 outta the 7 + he was pretty close to beating a 8-0-1 (7) 20yr old & he has wins over a 7-0-1 & 7-1-2 guy previous to the bad streak.
