I would love to see this fight. Crawford is still a hype job and has yet to face an A class fighter and Manny is an elite class fighter. Manny is still good enough to tell us if Crawford is a hype job or not. Crawford got buzzed by blown up inactive Gamboa and took a while to adapt to his speed. Manny has all the tools to give Crawford a real tough fight even at his advanced age. I even favor Manny to win.

I understand that Crawford needs to get himself in with a top level fighter to assert his dominance and cement his legacy but Pac isn't that top level fighter anymore. Hasn't he been through enough? Given up a majority of his life boxing and has already fought the best. From my point of view it kinda sounds like, "Hey Manny. We know you've been fighting the best for years but could you get some brain damage against this Crawford guy for the fans? Would really appreciate it". We should be rallying for him to fight those other welters because let's face it, Pac's retiring soon.

For competition of course, we want to see different clashes of styles. A passing of the torch. A last hurrah for the pacman.

Staying in boxing and being a champion has it's price. You want us to pay for your fights? Give us decent competion. You want us to want another Floyd fight? Show us what you can still do on top level.

It's nice that you're concern of pacquiao, but fighters in the past also reaped from challenges like this, including pac himself.
He fought old versions of great fighters too and earned credit coz he looked great and took over like saying "it's his time".
