Why doesn't this best "should fight the best"standard also apply to Loma, because when did Salido become the best?

Salido is #2 with The Ring and #5 with TBRB. I also thought that his two recent draws should have been wins, which would have made him the unified WBC and WBO champion

As for Tank, I'm happy for him to face a couple more solid contenders before he attempts to unify, but the Loma fight has to be on the agenda sooner or later. It would be tragedy to have two such talented guys of the same size not face each other while they're in or near their primes

Well, Corrales already turned Loma down, and it looks like Golden Boy is trying to set up a unification between him and Berchelt now

But Davis vs Berchelt is a seriously good match-up and I suspect we'll start seeing more demand for it after Berchelt annihilates Miura soon
