The fight was over Brooke was beat. If Brooke did not stop it the ref or the corner or at least the doctor would have. He was done, someone has to lose it, was not his night. Brooke was fighting with his crushed skull squishing his eyeball like a g****. Warren is a shister pimp and son of a shister bookie slime ball who benefits from real mans courage, he should only praise Brooke. Too bad Marsh missed the mark on this British Don King.

Let me put this another way. If Spence started blinking his eyes, and taking a knee, they would have stopped the fight. They would have stopped it a lot sooner, but since Brook was the home town hero, they were going to let it go on, even if his eye ball fell out. That's the dark side of the home town advantage. They'll stop the fight on the visitor in a heartbeat, but they'll let the home boy fight till death.

I agree somewhat with Warren in thsi article but his comment about the SS team cheerleading Brook is wrong. Don't get me wrong, the commentary team is often plain ****** but they duly gave Spence credit in the second half of the fight and were talking about how momentum was in his favour a full round before Kell Crook quit.
