Honest question, why do you believe that? The facts prove the exact opposite of that. Genuinely curious to learn what the process was to convince you of something that's the exact opposite of the truth.

Kovalev was Stevenson's mandatory and then blatantly ducked Stevenson. This is all easily verifiable publicly available information.

      I've never seen that before.

He sure has b*tch-like ways for somebody that calls himself the Krusher.

He just gave the mic to Stevenson
I wanted to see that fight 2 years ago. From the info I remember Stevenson priced himself out of that fight. Was really disappointed it fell through.

That's not what happened. The WBC ordered a 50/50 split, which was highly unusual for a mandatory defense. But Kovalev had demanded 50/50, had demanded the diamond title, had demanded to be the mandatory.

        WBC said yes to everything.

        Stevenson said yes to everything.

Then as soon as Kovalev's bluff had been called, Kovalev refused to go through with the fight, even though he was a television free agent, and used the threat of the fight to get himself another HBO deal.

Present them with FACTS and they still play dumb.

I've already said that in this thread. That doesn't excuse Stevenson from his poor level of opposition in recent fights

Kovalev could have been on Stevenson's resume but they ducked him.

You can try turning this into a kovalev vs Stevenson thing if you want but you're picking the wrong guy I'm not here to hug nuts I'm just calling it as I see it.

Facts are facts and the fact is Williams jr, karpency, bika and sukhotskiy and even this fonfara rematch are all fights that no one gives a **** about

Kovalev isn't the only fighter in the world. They've had a ready made big money match up in Canada for years in jean pascal and that hasn't even happened. As a Stevenson fan are you honestly saying you wouldn't have matched him any differently than how he's been matched the past few years? There's no way the guys he's fought have been the best available.
