Smart move by both sides. Oscar has been making smart business moves and he's been trying to find more talent of Puerto Rico. Who better than Miguel Cotto to help grow Golden Boy Promotions in Puerto Rico?
As for Cotto Golden Boy Promotions helps him grow his promotional company and will get him 1 or 2 big paydays.

I'm guessing because he's the most marketable out of the top 5 to fight Cotto.
Cotto is #1 contender, Liam Williams is #2, he's scheduled for a rematch with Liam Williams. #3 is someone named Dennis Hogan his record is a joke. #4 Stephan Horvath is another unknown with a joke record and #5 is Kamegai.Last edited by The Time; 05-31-2017, 04:23 PM.

A couple of fights as a farewell. I'm fine with that as long as his fights after Kamegai are credible or decent names.

Yeah I noticed that too, Kamegai was ranked 12th and magically appeared at #5 all of a sudden.
Well you know, boxing politics.
