Pretty much the opposite, Taylor started calling Davies out first, Davies said he hadnt done enough to deserve it, lol. Hearn sent the first offer and Cyclone felt they were being lowballed, so Hearn told them to do it

Looking forward to this one. Their 16th and 10th fight(s) also. I like it when then can be matched early...didn't do no harm for Groves and DeGale.

Taylor has height and reach advantages on Davies, faster, more skillful, hits just as hard

Ahhh my bad. I can hardly understand anything Josh says so that might be my problem with that.

And I just saw a video a few days back where Hearn & Ohara were talking about the offer being too good damn near so that's why that was my take on that.

It doesn't really seem like a fight you'd wanna make now unless the money was too good cuz both guys seem like they could have legit top ten potential & I don't think either guy was close to legit top ten status. Although the winner of this fight could slip into the legit top ten I think one could argue with how soft 140 is outside the top couple guys.

Davis has been on a tear since that Mathews fight, calling out everyone, confidence sky high. Strike while the irons hot. Taylor thinks hes simply better than him. Like many have said, Im with the view the loss doesnt really hurt either of them

Cyclone having it is good exposure for both aswell, would have been maybe 150k viewers on Sky, Channel 5 you could be looking at 800k +.

In pretty much every worthwhile category you can think of (punch variety, size, footwork etc.) Taylor has the advantage. But I just have the subsequently entirely irrational feeling that O'Hara is just going to iron him out. Must be riding his hype train without realising it. Looking forward to the fight; great match up.

Looky Looky man looked useless against Scarpa. He's too slow and one paced, Taylor will give him a beating, there's levels in this sport. Davies just wanted a biggest paycheck whilst he is undefeated as he knows he'll never get to world level.
