If he is 175 and loses expect the people in here praising his physique to come back later on making excuses about how he peaked too early since there's still 2 weeks to go.

I think Kovalev is a great fighter, that said, making multiple EXCUSES for loosing has me concerned about his insecurities.
In terms of improving. I think Ward can improve more. Ward has looked far sharper in the past.
Kovalev looked as good as I've ever seen him, especially against an ELITE boxer as Ward. I've never seen Ward dominated in terms of TALENT.
I think Kovalev slowed down in the second half from the body shots from Ward, not cause he over trained. He also acted much more gun shy in the last 4-5 rounds. If anyone had a right to be "gun shy", that would be Ward. I couldn't figure out why Kov. Was so apprehensive at times. I guess he had his reasons.

Wow at the people who say it "was a 12 round fight and the knockdown is just a small part of that". So which 7 rounds did Ward win so convincingly to get that 114? When did he dominate and really hurt Kovalev? If only hockey worked this way. 1st period team Ward scores 12 goals vs 11 goals. 2nd period team Kov scores 40 goals vs 2 goals. 3rd period team Ward scores 15 goals vs 14 goals. So team Ward won a dominant victory by winning 2 periods right? According to boxing rules that is what we got and Ward got all the close rounds, and even ROUND 10 which was far from close?? It was a joke decision. Ward will get a beating on the 17th.

Ward actually needs to improve to win.
Ward needs to make more adjustments that Kovalev. Everyone is buying into what Team Ward is saying, despite of what the tapes are showing. Now everyone is becoming delusional. If it's the same fight as the first, Kovalev will get the nod.
