  • Why is it acceptable to quit in MMA but unacceptable to quit in boxing?

MMA fighters can tap out from a submission hold and nobody blinks an eye. Kell had a broken orbital bone and decides to quit and he gets called a quitter.

Ever heard of arm bars, ankle locks, leg locks? You are the one with **** for brains.

These guys tap out because they don't want to get there arm or leg snapped and want to fight another day. Same thing as Kell Brook, he could of went blind and at the same time he was taking big shots which would lead to long term brain damage.

      Su*k a Di*k my friend.

Its just a bad habit brought in by ***chizzoo practitioners when practicing their gay moves in sparring or whatever they call it -- I think its called Kamasutra.

That Irish boy who got chocked out by that Stockton boy is a b*tch for real, he gave his back and got ****ed up the ass, tapped before the hold was in tight -- a Kell Brook type quitter.

They should of thought about that before doing this for a living.

I disagree boxing is something else : sport to me is Baseball, Basketball, Football, this is combat but we call it 'Sport' to pretend to be civilized ; what other ' Sport' allows you to kill a man?

Boxing has two typical ways of winning. By KO or by decision. MMA has three typical ways of winning. By KO, by tapout & by decision. That's why its acceptable in MMA more than in boxing.

I will say as an MMA fan that even in MMA tapping too earlier is seen in much the same way as some people view what Brook did Saturday. A MMA guy you all know is a "early" tapper. The Notorious Conor McGregor has tapped out too quickly in 2 fights when he was taken down & MMA people have labeled him MMA's version of a quitter when things got rough exactly like fans do in boxing.

And I mean this is just some basic schoolyard sh^t at the end of the day like I brought up in another thread. Its not even about boxing. In 5th grade when two guys are fighting & one quits or doesn't wanna fight before there is a decisive ending he gets labeled a *****. This is just an extension of that sorta situation. Its in our DNA almost to view people who fight in a negative way if they aren't willing to go down swinging as primitive as that kinda outlook might be.
