      Is the list just active athletes or does it include retired ones as well? If it doesn't include retired athletes the fact that Floyd retired and hasn't fought in 2 years might be why he's left off.

                  phelps isn't on there so I'd assume only active atheletes

                    It makes sense in terms of popularity. Manny is a boxing icon known and loved around the world. Mayweather is not exactly an ambassador to the sport, and never fought outside of the U.S.
