Mayweather says Canelo beats GGG because he already beat Canelo & if Canelo beats GGG makes May look good & doesn't have to fight GGG in the future!

Guys come on, Mayweather is your biggest supporter in the world AFTER he beats you. The better you do, the more he can say "See, I beat that guy who just won, that's how great I am."

This is not an honest appraisal, it is self obsessed self promotion. Of course Mayweather is going to say that the guy he beat is better than the guy that some people would say he is avoiding. In the same sentence Mayweather says he beats Golovkin easy but that he (Mayweather) was never really a 154 pounder. So what does that mean? Mayweather might as well say that he beats Anthony Joshua easy, it's meaningless.

Because he has a history of promoting himself this way, and this is his pattern. Maybe he really does think Canelo will win, but he can't be trusted to give an honest opinion. And as he can't be trusted, we would be fools to discuss his comment as if it was an honest assessment.

Floyd is wishing Canelo KOs GGG because it makes his W over Canelo look better. It's not going to happen though. Canelo will be the one getting KO'd. GGG will expose Canelo and then the haters will say Canelo is a bum. Floyd will never in a million years fight GGG. GGG would take Floyd's head right off. Floyd is all talk and no action.

GGG only wins if he KO's him or knocks him down multiple times in multiple rounds. If not and it goes to the cards i dont think anyone here believes GGG will get it.

How does answering a question about who wins a fight amount to self promotion? He didn't mention himself and he mentioned he thought GGG had good power but was flat footed, which is something alot of people say.

So unless he says GGG will win its a lie and self promotion? GTFOH!!

This is definitely an ego driven pick. There's not much evidence to suggest that canelo will ko ggg this is more out of hope than expectance.

That being said it's not beyond the realms of possibility but anyone how knows the sport knows there far more likely options

Canelo has improved over the years, but I think GGG has his number... Canelo likes to dictate the pace of his fights, GGG applies steady pressure all the time... It will be a great night for Boxing when they fight!
