Seriously though I wonder where Allen goes from here. Hearn has said that he's still on board with Operation White Rhino. Winning the British title someday should be the end goal, but he clearly still needs a few more full training camps and solid progression fights under his belt. Knocking over Polish plumbers on short notice is a waste of time. There has to be a middle ground between Lukasz Rusiewicz and Lenroy Thomas (and it's not as if he was dominated by Thomas anyway)

I actually thought he beat Lenroy quite comfortably (it was an ugly fight but he seemed to be doing so much more work). He could probably win a british title, I see Dubois beating him up for a British title fight though.Seriously though I wonder where Allen goes from here. I knew it was B.S. as soon as I read your post. Besides the bogus date...
First off, Dave Allen just lost on the undercard of Brook-Spence.
Wilder's mandatory is Bermane Stiverne.
There was no way that fight was real.Comment

I saw a close fight that Thomas edged with cleaner, classier work. Froch's commentary had me doubting my eyes though haha
Yeah he's cannon fodder for prospects like Dubois, Gorman and Joyce but I could easily see him nicking a British title off the likes of Cornish or Sexton. I definitely don't want him to give up, but he shouldn't really be given primetime status on any more PPVs eitherComment

Wilder's resume makes this **** semi-believable.
It's not hard to imagine him fighting a bum, when he's made a career out of fighting bums.
Good thread - keep 'em coming until he steps up.Comment
