Great read! I agree Danny would be an interesting test for Spence in a way Thurman may not provide. Danny loves when a fighter comes straight in and is predictable. He also loves catching fighters with their hands in the cookie jar. His timing may give Spence fits, but dsg also can be outworked. Good match for sure.

I also wish there was no such thing as boxing politics bc grj v all the top fighters at 126 would be fantastic matches, but I've heard all of them downplay the value of facing him (besides lsc) at one point or another. Would love to see him in there in wars.

Gary Russell should get a unification fight against someone. He's too good to not be doing more with his career.

As for Spence struggling a bit against Kell Brook....I think that comes down to Brook being a pretty darn good boxer with more experience, plus the long layoff hurt Errol.

        Great analysis - again.

I don't want to see a fighter killed or seriously injured.

I have no idea why Brook has had two consecutive serious injuries - a fractured orbital bone is no joke. But I do know that if you fight on with that kind of injury you are risking the kind of damage that no fighter should endure just to prove he has heart. Brook as guts and nobody should question that. But that doesn't mean he should live the rest of his life blind in one eye or worse.
