Thurman?, it should be Garcia Vs Spence!

Both come forward, and hit with bad intentions. I think Thurman is too soon for Spence. Garcia is someone who is going to be there to be hit . And can box when he needs to. This could be similar to Garcia vs Mathysse.

    1.Thurman.
    2.Garcia
    3.Spence.

Spence should knockdown number two to earn number one. If he gets Thurman, i think it's too soon. He was getting tagged with right hands after right hands early, Brook isn't the strongest puncher either. He doesn't counter on the inside too, he just holds, a lot of missed opportunities for brook simply by holding. Spence did what he had to do, come forward and work the body, taking away his legs.

For Spence, It would be better if he can see what someone like Garcia brings to the table, he's easier to adjust to than Thurman, but just as dangerous.

Garcia needs to prove he belongs in that conversation. He should fight porter. Even vargas might be a good match for Garcia.

Thurman is out for 8 months at least because of elbow surgery.

          He's on the sidelines.

Garcia would be a damn good interim fight.....does Danny want some though?????

Garcia comes forward? No, but I wouldn't mind seeing him vs Spence while we wait on Thurman. That would be intense.

Hell no. It should be Thurman and Spence. Garcia isn't even in the mix for top dog at welterweight. He lost to Thurman and the fight wasn't that close in my opinion. Brook beat Porter by an equally small amount as Thurman did. Then Spence KOs Brook. That easily puts Spence on the same level as Thurman if not above him. If Thurman wants to continue his good work as a champion who fights the best then he should fight Spence next because Spence is clearly the best opponent Thurman could fight. When Spence challenged Thurman before Thurman told him he hadn't earned the fight. Well now Spence has earned the fight. Spence made it very clear him wants a unification fight with Thurman next. Does Thurman want to go for another belt or play it safe and just keep the belts he has now?

Yes, that makes sense. I forgot how long Thurman will be out action so Garcia would be a good title defense for Spence and Thurman could fight the winner. I am a fan of both Thurman and Spence because they are both very good fighters who will gladly fight the best opponents possible.

I could be wrong but I don't think many people would rank Spence below Garcia. I Spence became number 1 with his KO of Brook or at least a tie with Thurman for number one. Brook was supposed to be very dangerous for Spence and he passed that test with flying colors. Spence doesn't want or need a practice fight for Thurman. He is ready for Thurman any time Thurman is ready for him.
