I've said it once, and I'll say it again. Froch is going to be a very difficult man to beat - he's got a rock-solid chin (never been down ever), unorthodox style (no guard at all), rock-solid confidence, and his right hand is his equaliser.

Manfredo? No offence to the dude, but that would be abit of a mismatch. Is that the guy from that TV programme, right?

Carl Froch has immense pedigree, being the first British fighter to ever win a medal at the senior world championships (not to mention winning the 'best boxer' in all weight categories award at a 2001 international meet in Copenhagen when most of the top guys were there). He doesn't need to be fighting no average American fighters. He needs to go for Mkrtchian next and then Veit, that's the plan for him anyway. I still don't think Calzaghe will take the fight, he's been turning it down for over two years and will continue turning it down unless Froch becomes a big enough name.

The point I was making is that it would get him good coverage in the US. Froch would be the Heavy favorite but I'd much rather see Manfredo matched agaisnt the likes of Froch than with Calzaghe.
