Just Watched Murata vs N'Dam - Def. Robbery - NOTES

First off, Luis Pabon imo did a good job. I don't care what anybody says. The slips I saw were all bonafide and both fighters showed good sportmanship..

I really enjoyed watching N'Dam's movement from Pedro Diaz. The conditioning to go ahead against Murata with such power going 12 was well done in camp. Unfortunately, N'Dam doesn't have enough power to hurt Murata, but he did have some moments rocking his guard by sequential offensive attacks. N'Dam also did well on counteroffensive attacks to stop Murata's consecutive moments. Yes, Murata had a hard time catching N'Dam most of the time because N'Dam was very active, making the Jap reset most of the time. In all, Murata was more pecise the 2nd half.

    1. N'Dam 10 / 9...

First round, N'Dam's formula throughout the night will stay the same. Murata started off cold trying to close off the ring..

    2. Murara 10 / 9

Second, Murata warming up on some clean shots, N'Dam had his moments at the end of the round, most looking cute on counter attacks to the guard

    3. N'Dam 10 / 9

Third, Like RD1 again, Murata seemed cold like RD1, again N'Dam having Murata reset to much chasing around the ring and covering his guard

    4. Murata 10 / 8

Fourth, Murata now fully warm in closing the ring, and finally catches N'Dam, great round for Murata

    5. N'Dam 10 / 9

Fifth, Both had their moments, and N'Dam last round to show high output counter attacks, although just rocking Murata's guard.

    6. 12

All Murata. From here forward Murata does everything better than the first half and catches N'Dam with some pretty hard shots all thoughou the night. Very well composed Murata is, can close the ring pressure like Gennady and has thudding power on shots. Gotta give it to N'Dam for surviving many massive blows to the body and chin. A lot of Murata's shots had N'Dam bouncing back to the ropes, many slips.. Just not enough pop from N'Dam to hurt Murata..

    FINAL: 117-110 Murata

The ref blew at least 3 KD's.

If the ropes prevent a fight from going down....that is supposed to be counted as a KNOCK DOWN.

The ropes stopped N'dam from falling at LEAST 3 times.

      From punches.

Nah, there was only one round where Murata caught him on the chase, and Ndams back just above the neck is what held him. It wasn't one of those where the fighter is hanging on the middle rope completely off feet. N'Dam had the bounce back from the corner ring pole, not like a mid center rope springing the fighter back. N'Dam had about 2 slips that looked from contact or a hard blow but weren't. Either way Murata won every round on the second half by better boxing it was obvious. The first portion was neck and neck. Murata was just too strong. But i know you were referring to like a standing 8 that one time. N'Dam bounced back proper doe.

        I saw it full way.

I had it 117-110 proper. This was like a Lamont Peterson vs Garcia, only that Murata is more sound than Garcia in precision. Murata is a key player at 160 btw. Easily current top 5. He vs Alvarez or Golovkin are great fights. The Gold Olympian and he got power!

Lets nor forget he was right behind Wade in the IBF choosings when the Haymon boy was on House Arrest. Guess which fighter Loeffler begged GGG to fight...

No need for me to even watch it a second time, anyone who disagrees must be a Frenchman.
