Best summer i can remember for boxing

    We've had wlad-joshua, brook-spence, crawford-diaz

Now we get a mouth watering fonfara vs steveson, just when i think the fun is over. I then also have ward-kovalev which is going a bit under the radar for reasons I do not know

I'm also not mentioning B type bouts like porter=berto.

    Best ever?

Stevenson is levels above fonfara and he has already shown that. It's an ok fight but not something that makes this a standout summer.

In all honesty, the only fight that matched the hype was AJ v Wlad. Brook v Spence was ok while it lasted.

      LOL at TC v Diaz

If you think this is the best ever period for fights then you only started watching boxing last year.

Brook vs spence was great for 10 round man, that's basically a full fight. Steveson had to go life and death with Fonfara, and has not looked great in his last few.

I would favor stevenson but it has the potential the be action packed. And then the ward-kovalev fight is a beautiful chess match.

Yeah diaz has alligator arms and was way to small and slow for terrance, it had some ok moments but was a domination.

The amount of notable fights this summer is staggering

On top of the bigger name fights, we have fights like muira-berchelt and sauders-khurtisze.

Every time I check the schedule i find a new fight. Pacman horn might suck, but the event should have a good under card as well.

It's been good so far, but June - August is looking a bit dry IMO, at least compared to Jan - May. Let's hope more fights get penciled in to make the 2nd half as good as the 1st half.
