Margarito always seems to find a reason to say he's being ducked.

If he wants to make money, Mayweather is his richest option, but not his only option. He can easily go back to 154 and make fights there. But he seems unwilling to take any risks.

if margarito goes to 154 he's in a worser situation then at welterweight, he'd have to start over at 154 and nobody is calling for margarito to fight them at 154

Ferocity if you say he's the best and he's calling out PBF who is far smaller then why can't he go to 154? I asked you this in the past and somebody asked you today, he has the size and height to move up and since he claims he can't get any fight's at welter then go to 154 and call ppl out if there not calling him out like you say. He never had any problem before calling people out, if your that good IMO then you can go up and do well if your body allows it which his should. You say why move up, bacause your telling any and everybody that everybody's ducking you then move up.

PLUS, if hopkins can stay at middleweight for years! and get no respect, no big names for years -before trinidad, delahoya- why the hate on margarito to move up?

margarito after all has the wbo title, and at 154 he's just another fighter trying to get a fight

I don't hate , I was just asking me and you have both seen many a fighter's before that have moved up if they are the elite in a lighter wt. and body will allow it. Especially if they can't get the big fight's I was just curious to why you think he won't to get the big fight's.

I'm not overly impressed. Yes, he throws a lot of punches, and that will give a lot of people problems, but even a guy who ran up a record against nobodies, a guy with almost no skill at all, was able to clock him a few times.

Don't get too high on this guy based on this fight. Matthysse is a tailor made fighter for someone like Williams. No skills, much shorter reach, comes straight ahead. It should be worrisome to Williams' camp that someone like this was able to connect enough to stun him. What do you think a skilled fighter like Margarito or Mayweather would do to him?

Williams is a high activity, exciting fighter to watch, but he punches very sloppily. A skilled fighter will be able to take advantage of that. Whether or not they will be able to get him out of there is yet to be seen, but Williams definitely needs to tighten up before he steps up.

I was very impressed with williams. He looks huge at welterweight, throws a lot of punches, and he was not tired at all. He had loads of stamina, and it looked like even at round 10 he had the same power behind his punches as he did at round one. I will say this though, he gets hit A LOT. Very good fighter though.
