April 23, ESPN must see TV and Mayweather Plea

The ESPN card already has Cintron vs Margarito and Juan Diaz vs Ebo Elder. Now they are close to adding Jammel McCline vs Calvin Brock and Shane Mosley vs David Estrada

Mayweather entered his no contest plea because after he missed his last court date they added a charge of misdemeanor escape. By pleading no contest they agreed to drop the escape charge. Also prosocuters said they will not push for any jail time. The judge will have the final say on March 11 at the sentencing but they are confident that they will not face any jail time and can move on with the Gatti fight. The max he can get is 93 days in jail and you know for a star that means no time. Also they said that the civil suit related to the assault should be resolved soon

i wonder if gatti can bridge the talent gulf.

hes got the power and skills to stop pbf IMO
but then pbf has the power, skill AND speed to
neutralize anything gatti has to offer.

hopefull this wont be as bad a show as corrales-pbf

i hope gatti ko in 10...
i think pbf ud or late ko

sorry i havent got anything to say on the actual topic

Sounds like ESPN knew that their card was a little weak for a PPV. Still not great, though it's an improvement...though the fact that they're doing a PPV still sucks.

Good news about Mayweather. Maybe if (and when) he beats Gatti he'll get the acclaim that he's looking for and he'll straighten himself out a bit. Course there still is that domestic abuse charge looming...

it sucks that it's ppv but it's still a good card, ebo elders last fight with courtney burton was a great fight.
