    Welterweights in the mid 2000's - Early 2010
    Paul Williams - 6'1
    Mayweather - 5'8 1/2
    Pacquiao - 5'6

            People tend to be much fatter/bulkier now days. Have you seen the welterweights in the UFC?

              no they're about the same, you've got some freakishly tall fighters on that list who always stood out for being tall, except for the mid 90's fighters who all moved up multiple divisions and were pretty successful doing so. welterweights that had moved up in the past couple of years had short lived reigns or fought at catchweights

                They are maybe shorter, but look more muscular. Just look how Berto looks in the ring.
