    3. Pulev

And I'm sure the others are as bad or worse.

IBF just sticks to its own imperfect rules a lil more than the other orgs but they're all subject to the fractured state of boxing.
The fractured state of boxing is ultimately the biggest problem in the sport.

But in that imperfect world the IBF sticking to its rules brings some much needed order out of chaos. If there are negative effects sometimes from doing that the answer isn't to stop sticking to the rulebook...the answer is to periodically review and modify the rulebook so that it functions as well as humanly possible.

And you say, well the IBF top contender isn't good enough, etc . . . but we're not living in a fantasy land. We live in reality. In reality, those were the top fighters willing to fight for the IBF. If you think the best fighters are fighting in other leagues, then watch those leagues instead. Nobody is telling you that you have to watch IBF fights.

like you would fight top competition when you already have a guaranteed title shot . . . please . . .

He's the mandatory. He's fighting the Kevin Johnsons of the world because he's stuck waiting forever for his shot and just wants to knock off some rust. He's not going to risk his position, nor should he. You clearly have absolutely no idea how this sport operates.

you ARE living in a fantasy land.....

a land where better fighters than Pulev don't exist LMAO

in the land we live in..... Pulev is shht, and you are a tool

        they switched Fury, for Martin

now they will switch Joshua, for Pulev

        " much needed order " ?

        I STRONGLY disagree

If Ali had "stuck to the rules" he would have served in Vietnam

        I very STRONGLY disagree

They switched Fury because he wouldn't meet his obligation to defend against his mandatory.

If they switch Pulev for Joshua it's because he too won't defend against his mandatory.

There has to be some penalty in place if a champion doesn't defend against the #1 contender.

Why doesn't Joshua just fight Pulev then rematch Klitschko after that?

He didn't earn it fair and square. He earnt it because the IBF has the worst ranking system ever seen in boxing. The only org that would make a guy mandatory twice within 3 years - one time after getting brutally knocked out. Hasn't fought anyone to get his original mandatory shot and hasn't fought anyone to get his second mandatory shot.

It's Tony Thompson all over again. Absolutely embarrassing.

another great example of why you won't admit what your native tongue is.

nobody said better fighters don't exist. they were fighting for better leagues. the IBF is the C league and is going to have C fighters. this is how boxing works.

you're not making any sense. if the IBF has the worst rankings, then stop caring about their champions. nobody told you to care about their champions or their title fights.

he earned the shot because he won the eliminator fair and square. if you don't think the IBF has the best fighters, watch the leagues that have the best fighters.

but his mandatory was shht, and Klitschko/Fury II was better

the IBF should have had more respect for Wladimir Klitschko

their ' rules doe ' system is CLEARLY inept
