My favorite thing about boxing is watching a guy go from prospect to contender to champion. I'll admit, I don't really care for amateur boxing. It's nothing like pro boxing. It's like flag football to NFL football. So I'm out of the loop when it comes to amateurs. But who are some prospects to look out for in the next couple of years? I know Benavidez is the real deal. What about Anthony Yarde? Is Verdejo still a prospect or is he a contender? Name some of the best prospects out there right now.
Now that Spence has proven to be the real deal, WHO NECKS????

I'm pretty excited about the possibility of seeing Errol Spence Jr. vs. Egidijus Kavaliauskas in a couple of years. That will be a high level fight.
For now though, I'm already setting money aside for when they make Spence Jr. vs. Crawford. That's this eras Hagler vs. Hearns. Two high level operators, both armed with more dog in them than we've seen in a while in boxing. I gotta sit ringside for that. -
I'mma have to check this Egidijus Kavaliauskas kid out. What weight does he fight? In three years I don't see Spence at welterweightI'm pretty excited about the possibility of seeing Errol Spence Jr. vs. Egidijus Kavaliauskas in a couple of years. That will be a high level fight.

Thurman is not even close to the level of a Spence nor Brook.
Thurman is like a fresher version of Andre Berto. Not in terms of fighting style, but in terms of how good he is. His "big" wins are very overrated. He beat a washed-up Ghost, had a close fight with the extremely limited Danny Garcia, and squeaked out a decision (I thought he lost) against Porter.
I mean he's not beating no Floyd, Manny, Bradley, Spence or Brook. Keith Thurman is tremendously overrated, but a good solid B- or B fighterComment
